2014 Calendar — Trip of a Lifetime
Our eighth annual calendar, created for 2014.
This year was special, we spent seven weeks driving from Binghamton, NY
through Canada into and around Alaska —
then back to Canada, up to the Arctic Circle (on the Dempster Highway)
and finally back through Alaska and Canada to home.
We took literally thousands of pictures and agonized over which twelve to share.
We hope you like our choices.

We nicknamed it "Stegosaurus Mountain."

Busy Dock
Homer, Alaska has a huge spit of land out into the sea that
serves as a dock for fishing and recreational boats
as well as deep sea ships.

The pinkish vegetation in the foreground is Fireweed, so named because

We nicknamed it "Play-Doh Mountain" because it looked like piles of modeling clay scraps.
