Starrucca Viaduct
Located in Lanesboro PA, this is a spectacular piece of stonework. According to a nearby sign:
"Built in 1847-48 by the Erie R.R. it is 1200 ft. long, 110 ft. high, 30 ft. wide at top."
These pictures were taken on two trips to the viaduct, one in October of 2003, and again the following April.
The viaduct runs North-South and is photogenic from any direction. I hope you enjoy the show.
Suggestions are welcome - just send me an

Viaduct—Wide View
Taken, I believe, from "Viaduct Road" this is a good distant view.
I'd like to get a better shot showing the length, but haven't yet found the right vantage point.

Flag, Sign & Viaduct
Nicely maintained lawn features a flag, wishing well and a sign about the viaduct in the background.
The sign reads: "Starrucca Viaduct. Built in 1847-48 by the Erie R.R. it is 1200 ft. long, 110 ft. high, 30 ft. wide at top."
